The Beginning Of A More Abstract Style.

I have been working for a few weeks now on this new style of painting. This is a much more abstract style and is painted exclusively with a pallet knife. I’m using a bold pallet of blues, greens, yellows and pinks and I think these colours are working well together. 

I'm enjoying this series, it’s a very loose form of painting with simple composition and a keen eye on overall balance. Mostly these are from imagination and I think it will be interesting to try some from reference photos and try to capture the essence of the scene in this style.
